New Boeing 777 arrived at EVA Air
The 22nd Boeing 777-300ER in its fleet has been delivered to EVA Air from the Boeing factory in Everett, Washington
The delivery ceremony was attended and led by EVA Air's chairman Captain K.W. Chang and Boeing's vice President Jeff Klemann.
The EVA Air company also used this opportunity to unveil its new corporate identity. “The New EVA Difference” in the livery design symbolizes the airline’s excellent network and operational systems, commitment to customers safety and quality of services that it provides. By using the new identity, EVA Air aims to maintain the reputation of its core identity and values.
“EVA Air was a launch customer for the 777-300ER in 2005 and the aircraft has become the backbone of our long-haul fleet.
“By the end of 2017, we will be operating more than 30 Boeing 777-300ERs.
“We launched our new generation Boeing 777-300ERs last year and significantly upgraded our in-flight services and cabin environments.
“Today, we unveiled a new livery design to herald our continuing commitment to service innovation.
“We aim to give our passengers flying experiences that are even more comfortable and enjoyable, and that include fun and entertainment along the way”, Captain Chang declared for the press.
By the end of the next year, the company is planning to add another seven Boeing 777-300ERs and six more A321-200s to its fleet, for a total of more than 80 airplanes operating under its logo.
The new Boeing 777-300ERs will fly on North America routes, aiming to increase the company's services up to 77 flights a week by the end of 2016.
