Abu Dhabi Declares Complimentary Parking and Toll Exemption During Eid Al Adha 2023 Festivities
Starting Tuesday, parking and toll fees will not be charged during the four-day Eid Al Adha holidays.
"MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be free of charge as of Tuesday, June 27, 2023, until 7:59 am on Saturday, July 1, 2023. Additionally, parking fees at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be free of charge during the Eid holiday," the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has mentioned.
ITC has urged motorists to park in designated parking areas only and not in residential spaces between 9 pm and 8 am. The ITC also announced that Darb's toll gates will be free starting Tuesday.
"Toll gate fees will be reactivated after the Eid holiday on Saturday, July 1, during peak hours (from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 7pm). Toll gates serve the purpose of ensuring a smooth traffic flow during timings with the most traffic congestion."
During the holiday season, the Customer Happiness Centers in the emirate are closed. They will resume their regular hours of operation on Monday.
During the holiday season, the ITC will increase the number of intercity bus services in coordination with private operators. The ITC also coordinated with private operators to increase intercity bus service.
The Abu Dhabi Express bus service and the Abu Dhabi Link will also operate during Eid from 6am until 11pm.
