Air Uniqon will launch direct flights between Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) and the North Sea island of Sylt from July 2, 2026, offering a 60-minute air connection to one of Germany's most popular vacation destinations.

The service operates twice weekly — on Mondays and Thursdays — through October 5, 2026, with schedules designed for travelers looking to maximize long weekends on the island. By comparison, the same journey by train from Berlin Central Station, with a transfer in Hamburg, takes between six and seven hours.

Flights will be operated by Avanti Air using Bombardier Dash 8-400 aircraft, with a capacity of 78 passengers. The route forms part of a triangular connection linking Friedrichshafen, Berlin, and Sylt.

The full schedule is as follows:

  • Mondays: BER departs 09:45, arrives Sylt (GWT) 10:45 — return departs 11:15, arrives BER 12:15
  • Thursdays: BER departs 15:45, arrives Sylt (GWT) 16:45 — return departs 17:15, arrives BER 18:15

With the launch of the Sylt route, Air Uniqon is also expanding its Friedrichshafen–Berlin service to four days per week, adding Monday to the existing schedule.
