Alaska and Hawaiian unify booking systems

Airlines & Airports

Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have completed a major integration milestone by moving to a shared passenger service system, enabling a more seamless travel experience across both carriers.

The unified system connects booking, check-in and loyalty programs into a single platform, allowing passengers to manage trips across both airlines more easily. Travelers can now use a combined mobile app to access reservations, make changes, and use self-service features.

All flights now operate under a single “AS” code, while both airlines maintain their distinct brand identities. Hawaiian Airlines services will continue to be clearly labeled and retain their onboard experience and branding.

The integration also includes shared airport operations in major cities, updated check-in processes with self-service kiosks, and a standardized boarding system across both airlines.

The move is part of Alaska Air Group’s broader strategy to expand its global network and enhance customer experience through improved digital tools and loyalty integration.
