American Airlines Launches FIFA World Cup Amenity Kits
American Airlines is leaning into its role as the Official Airline of U.S. Soccer with the launch of limited-edition FIFA World Cup-themed amenity kits, debuting across premium cabins in June and flying through July as North America hosts the tournament.
The kits are designed to travel from the plane to the stadium, doubling as practical match-day accessories. Flagship First and Flagship Suite Preferred passengers receive a clear bag with blue leather piping and a removable crossbody strap. Flagship Business and Flagship Suite customers get a similar clear bag with leather piping that can be worn as either a belt bag or crossbody. Premium Economy passengers receive a clear pouch with a removable wrist strap — all three formats meeting stadium clear bag requirements.
Each kit includes travel-ready skincare essentials: hand and body lotion, lip balm, after-sun cooling gel, and a pair of soccer-style socks — seasonal additions that set these kits apart from standard amenity offerings.
American's World Cup involvement goes well beyond the amenity kits. The airline added 27,000 seats across 12 new and existing routes to support fan travel, and is providing 1.45 million premium seats during the tournament. AAdvantage members have already redeemed millions of miles for match tickets through exclusive programme access. The airline is also planning special gate celebrations ahead of some of the tournament's most anticipated matches.
American holds the position of Official North American Airline Supplier of FIFA World Cup 26 in partnership with Qatar Airways.
