Aurigny to Resume Exeter Flights in Summer 2024
Guernsey’s Aurigny airline has announced the continuation of its Exeter route next summer. The new schedule includes flights on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, starting in 2024.
The route, a favorite among travelers, faced temporary suspension in June due to reliability issues but was reinstated in July.
Aurigny’s CEO, Nico Bezuidenhout, expressed satisfaction with the resumption, noting the route's popularity. "We’re pleased to offer these vital connections and work closely with Guernsey Ports," he said.
Ross Coppolo, managing director of Guernsey Ports, emphasized collaborative efforts with Aurigny to optimize flight schedules. Changes include shifting maintenance to non-operational hours, ensuring flights start on time.
Coppolo highlighted the goal of strengthening air travel connections for the community while supporting Aurigny’s needs.
Bezuidenhout added, "We’re committed to enhancing links for our communities and continuing this partnership for future improvements."
