Capella Has Inked A Contract For Its Third Chinese Hotel

The Capella Nanjing, planned by UK developer arch. David Chipperfield, is set to debut in 2025.
A hideaway where visitors may enjoy a beautiful combination of urban life and tranquil rest, this luxury retreat exudes an air of refinement and historical charm in every detail. Capella Nanjing, perched on a hill above the city, is a haven away from the everyday. Visitors can explore the timeless appeal and cultural wealth of Nanjing to find inner calm among the throbbing intensity of the metropolitan environment.
Guests of Capella Nanjing will be able to take a stroll to nearby attractions like famous museums and iconic buildings, thanks to the hotel's prime location next to Changjiang Road, the heart of the city's heritage district spanning over eighteen centuries.
A spectacular 360-year-old Gingko tree will serve as the centrepiece of the property's verdant grounds, as well as the focal point of the network of gardens that bring nature into the heart of the city. The hotel will also house 190 guest rooms, historical suites, and villas. Overlooking this lush vegetation are three upscale dining establishments, including the trademark Living Room found in all Capella hotels. A selection of conference and entertainment rooms, an Auriga Spa, a fitness facility, a semi-outdoor rooftop pool area, and a sky garden are all included among the hotel's other exclusive amenities.
With the occasion of the third opening on the Chinese market, Cristiano Rinaldi, President of Capella Hotel Group, commented:
"Following the opening of Capella Shanghai and Capella Tufu Bay, Hainan, the Capella Nanjing will expand our presence in China by offering guests an unprecedented level of bespoke luxury, legendary hospitality, and personalised service that ensures every guest feels welcome, connected to the destination, and utterly at home.”
The chairman of the Nanjing Xuanwu Cultural Tourism Development Group, Liu Qing, also praised Capella for its "high recognition" in the hotel industry, as the hospitality company offers an ultra-luxurious lifestyle opportunity to Nanjing and provides lasting experiences for visitors.
