Carnival Cruise Line Reiterates Ban on Travel Irons Aboard Ships

Carnival Cruise Line clarifies that travel irons, including the "cruise ship approved" Riddia Press iron, are prohibited onboard, highlighting available laundry facilities for passengers.
Carnival Cruise Line's Brand Ambassador, John Heald, has addressed guest inquiries regarding the allowance of travel irons on board, specifically targeting a "mini" cordless travel iron marketed as "TSA approved" and "cruise ship approved." Despite these claims, Carnival Cruise Line maintains a strict policy against bringing travel irons, including the Riddia Press iron by Magis Industries, Inc., aboard their ships. The cruise line emphasizes that all types of irons, along with clothes steamers and other items with heating elements, are prohibited due to safety concerns. However, passengers are reminded that ironing facilities are available in the laundry areas of all Carnival ships, offering an alternative to ensure garments remain wrinkle-free during their cruise. This clarification aims to prevent confusion among passengers influenced by product advertisements suggesting cruise line approval.
