Cayman Islands removes all Covid-19 travel regulations
Travellers aiming to visit the amazing destination in the western Caribbean Sea will no longer be required testing, vaccination certificates or border registration. So taking an unforgettable vacation to the unique islands has now become effortless.
“The new Regulations are in keeping with the current global environment, and I am in full support of and welcome the removal of travel restrictions.
“[This] is a great day in Cayman – and we thank every traveller, partner, and member of our community for ensuring our Government’s Phased Reopening Plan remains a success. At last, we can proudly say the Cayman Islands is open to all!,” stated Kenneth Bryan, the Cayman Islands’ Minister for Tourism and Transport.
Moreover, in order to boost tourist capacity traffic even more, the destination will soon introduce Cayman Airways’ first-ever flights from Los Angeles.
“With each new phase of reopening we have seen an increase in visitor arrivals to our beautiful destination, and we recently celebrated a major tourism recovery milestone as we increased airlift capacity.
“We are ready to open our doors to everyone who wishes to visit us and believe that the future of Cayman tourism is strong”, added Rosa Harris, Director of Tourism for the Cayman Islands.
The decisions are in perfect timing with the rising demand from travellers, as the region is currently experiencing a significant afflux of foreign tourists aiming to relax after the consecutive years of pandemic.
