Delta Airlines Expands Munich Routes with New York Flights
Delta Airlines introduces thrice-weekly flights from Munich Airport to New York's JFK, enhancing connectivity between Bavaria and the US East Coast.
Delta Airlines has announced the addition of New York's John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) to its list of destinations from Munich Airport, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This move comes in response to the growing demand for flights between the US and Germany, complementing Delta's existing services to Atlanta and Detroit.
The flights will be operated using Boeing 767-300/400 aircraft, equipped with the latest generation of seating. The configuration includes 156 Economy seats, 22 DeltaOne (Business Class) seats, 20 Premium Economy Class seats, and 28 ComfortPlus Class seats, offering more legroom for economy passengers.
Passengers on these flights will enjoy DeltaStudios' state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system, featuring personal screens at every seat and a wide selection of German-language content.
Jost Lammers, CEO of Flughafen München GmbH, expressed enthusiasm for the new route, highlighting the increased connectivity it brings to business and leisure travelers alike. With this addition, Munich Airport now hosts three airlines operating a total of 24 weekly flights to both JFK and Newark airports, further bridging the gap between Bavaria and the US East Coast.
