Delta Partners With FOX One to Stream Live Sports Inflight
Delta Air Lines has added FOX One to its Delta Sync inflight entertainment ecosystem, giving SkyMiles members access to more than 5,000 hours of annual live programming — including sports, news, weather, and on-demand entertainment — while flying on US domestic routes.
The partnership launches with a 24-hour complimentary trial available to logged-in SkyMiles members on Delta Sync Wi-Fi flights, with no credit card required. The timing is deliberate: FOX One is the home of this summer's most-watched global soccer tournament, running from June 11 through the Final on July 19, meaning passengers can follow every match live from their seat.
The FOX One sports catalogue is broad, covering NFL on FOX, MLB, NASCAR, IndyCar, college football including the Big Ten, alongside entertainment hits and FOX News. For those who want more than one screen, passengers can watch the live FOX channel on the seatback while using FOX One on a personal device for real-time stats, alternate angles, and instant replays. The on-demand feature also lets latecomers restart a game from the beginning if they board mid-match.
Delta's own data underlines the appetite for live sports in the air — the airline's top 30 live TV viewership days over the past year all coincided with major sporting events.
Beyond the complimentary trial, SkyMiles members will be able to redeem miles for a six-month FOX One subscription starting May 19, with bids starting from 15,000 miles. That same date opens bidding on a SkyMiles Experiences package offering behind-the-scenes access to FOX Sports coverage of the soccer tournament, a studio tour, and a talent meet-and-greet in Los Angeles.
FOX One joins a growing roster of Delta Sync partners that already includes The New York Times, YouTube, Paramount+, and Crunchyroll, with the platform now active across nearly 1,200 Delta aircraft.
