Ferrari World Abu Dhabi launches the first roller coaster in the world that drops sideways

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will launch a 5D "immersive megacoaster" that combines spectacular sets and special effects. It will also mark the first time a roller coaster drops sideways in the world. The ride is called Mission Ferrari and will be launching January 12.

Mission Ferrari is a new concept that we are proud to present to the world. "Fans are sure to have a memorable experience thanks to a combination immersive ride media and an exhilarating track on a rollercoaster that is unrivaled in the region," Deana Taylor, general manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

Annual pass holders at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will have exclusive access to Mission Ferrari starting January 5.

The attraction's annual Winterfest was launched last month. It features new entertainment and attractions such as an ice-skating performance, acrobatic performances, and an interactive village. Visitors can also visit the Gingerbread Factory to get frosting and candy canes to decorate their gingerbread houses. There are also roaming musicians.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi offers thrilling rides and roof-walking experiences. Guests can climb up to the canopy and enjoy breathtaking views of Yas Island. A 400-meter zip line takes you through the Flying Aces rollercoaster loop.

A Family Zone is also available for children. It features miniature versions of four famous rides: the Formula Rossa rollercoaster and Turbo Tower rollercoasters, as well as the Speedway Race and Flying Wings.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi was opened in 2010. It is located just minutes from many other top Yas Island attractions, including Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi, and Clymb Abu Dhabi.
