New Stations on the M4 Line
List of New Stations
The M4 line extension includes the following five new stations:
- Havneholmen
- Enghave Brygge
- Sluseholmen
- Mozarts Plads
- København Syd
Connecting the City
This extension links Orientkaj in Nordhavn to København Syd in Valby, significantly enhancing the overall metro network and providing greater convenience for commuters across the city.

Boost to Public Transit
Transport Minister Thomas Danielsen highlighted the significance of the new København Syd Station, stating, "København Syd Station will become one of Denmark's busiest transit hubs, offering connections between Intercity trains, regional trains, S-trains, and now the metro. The station is a remarkable feat, completed on time and within budget.”
Network Expansion
With this extension, the Copenhagen metro network now comprises 44 stations and 43 kilometers of tracks. The new M4 extension is expected to significantly increase passenger traffic on the M3/M4 lines.

By 2030, the five new stations are projected to serve approximately eight million passengers annually, contributing to the city's goals of enhancing public transportation and reducing environmental impact.
