Four Seasons Resort Set for Zanzibar

Four Seasons to open a luxury resort in Zanzibar with 60 villas, ocean views, spa, dining options, and sustainability focus. Opening date TBD.

The Four Seasons group, in collaboration with Albwardy Investment, announces plans for the Four Seasons Resort Zanzibar at Pongwe Beach, Tanzania. This beachfront luxury resort, joining the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti in Tanzania, will feature 60 private villas with one to three-bedroom layouts, offering panoramic Indian Ocean views.

Amenities include an oceanfront pool, cabanas, water sports, family activities, fitness facilities, meeting spaces, and a spa with private treatment rooms and an outdoor cabana. The resort will boast five dining options, including a signature seafood and a Mediterranean restaurant, emphasizing local cuisine.

Sustainability efforts will be spearheaded by a dedicated conservation team, focusing on habitat protection and responsible tourism. The resort aims to celebrate Zanzibar's rich culture and provide easy access to safari adventures in the Serengeti. The opening date for the resort has yet to be announced.
