
Iberia Group Inaugurates Direct Flights Between Madrid and Ljubljana

Iberia Group has inaugurated its direct flights between Madrid and Ljubljana, offering over 2,500 seats for the summer season. The new route operates twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays, with flights available for booking at www.iberia.com and through travel agencies, starting from 89 euros each way when purchasing a return ticket.

Flight Details and Schedule
The route is serviced by an Air Nostrum Canadair Regional Jet 1000, featuring 100 seats in a 25-row configuration with four seats per row. The inaugural flight, IB8666, departed from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport at 12:10 Spanish time and landed at Jože Pučnik Airport at 14:40 Slovenian time. Passengers and crew were greeted with a water arch and a ceremonial ribbon-cutting by Robert Latin, Director General of the Directorate for Air and Maritime Transport at the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia, and Janez Lapajne, Sales and Marketing Manager at Fraport Slovenija.
