In a significant expansion of its flight network, Spanish airline Iberia has inaugurated its new route to Tirana, the capital city of Albania, with the first flight, IB3386, departing on March 28 with a full capacity of 152 passengers. The airline has allocated a total of 32,364 seats for this route during the summer season, allowing travelers to explore one of the Balkans' emerging trendy cities.

Tickets for this new destination are available for purchase starting at 79 euros one way, through the airline's website, www.iberia.com, and travel agencies. The sales, which began last October, will continue throughout the operational period, ending in October this year.

Flight Frequencies and Timetable

Iberia has set a schedule of three weekly flights connecting Madrid directly with Tirana every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. These flights will be operated by the Airbus A320neo, the most efficient and advanced aircraft in Iberia's short-haul fleet, ensuring passengers a comfortable and eco-friendly journey to Madre Teresa International Airport, Tirana's primary gateway.

• Tuesdays and Sundays: Flight IB3386 departs Madrid at 08:00h, arriving in Tirana at 11:05h. The return flight, IB3387, leaves Tirana at 11:45h and lands in Madrid at 15:10h.
• Thursdays: The schedule shifts slightly, with IB3386 leaving Madrid at 08:40h and reaching Tirana at 11:45h. The return flight, IB3387, departs from Tirana at 12:25h, arriving in Madrid at 15:50h.
