Iran has signed a new agreement with Airbus
Iranian aviation fleet is enjoying a period of renewal, as the representative of Iran signed a contract with Airbus that includes new aircrafts and also civil avaition co-operation package. The Iranian officials selected a full range of 73 wide-bodied an 45 single aisle Airbus airliners. The agreement included also trainings for pilots and mechanics. More, Airbus agreed to provide supprot services in oreder to the aircrafts to enter into service efficientely.
Along side with the acquisition of the new fleet. the Road and Urban Development Minister, Abbas Ahmad Akhoundi, has himself agreed an co-operaton paper. All these facts are a part of a bigger initiative that target the country's civil aviation's modernisation, airplane terminal and flying machine operations, administrative harmonization, specialized and scholastic preparing, support, repair and mechanical participation.
Airbus representatives are also pleased to work with Iranian authorities and declare that they see in this modernization the confidence in a future without attacks and wars up in the air, a time when Iran will ally to the safety levels of any occidental air space. The agreement for 118 new aircraft signed by Farhad Parvaresh, Iran Air chairman, and includes 21 A320ceo family, 24 A320neo family, 27 A330ceo family, 18 A330neo (-900), 16 A350-1000 and 12 A380.
