KLM Expands European Network with Three New Destinations
Starting in spring 2025, KLM will introduce three exciting new destinations to its European route network: Ljubljana, Exeter, and Biarritz. These new routes will provide more travel options for business and leisure travelers, enhancing KLM’s already extensive European network.
Daily Flights to Ljubljana and Exeter
From March 30, 2025, KLM will offer daily flights to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital, and Exeter in Southwest England. Both routes will be operated by smaller aircraft: the Embraer 190 for Ljubljana and the Embraer 175 for Exeter, ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience.

Amsterdam to Ljubljana: Flights will depart daily at 10:15 AM from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS), arriving in Ljubljana at 12:05 PM. The return flight departs Ljubljana at 12:35 PM, arriving in Amsterdam at 2:25 PM.
Ljubljana is known for its rich culture, beautiful landscapes, and vibrant tourism, making it a perfect destination for both business and leisure travelers. -
Amsterdam to Exeter: The daily flights will leave Amsterdam at 4:15 PM, arriving in Exeter at 4:50 PM. The return leg departs Exeter at 5:20 PM, arriving in Amsterdam at 7:50 PM.
Exeter is a historic city offering access to the stunning Devon and Cornwall regions, including the famous Jurassic Coast.
Seasonal Flights to Biarritz
KLM will also introduce seasonal flights to Biarritz, France, starting April 19, 2025. The flights will be operated by the Embraer 190 and will run daily during the summer season, with two flights per week in the off-season.
- Amsterdam to Biarritz: From April 19 to October 25, flights will depart from Amsterdam at 2:20 PM and arrive in Biarritz at 4:20 PM. The return flight departs Biarritz at 4:50 PM, arriving in Amsterdam at 6:50 PM.
Biarritz, located in the French Basque region, is renowned as the surf capital of Europe, offering a unique mix of beaches, mountains, and charming Basque villages.
Reviving Connections and Expanding Reach
KLM’s addition of Exeter marks the return of direct flights between Amsterdam and the city after a hiatus following the bankruptcy of FlyBe. With these new routes, KLM continues to provide enhanced connectivity across Europe, offering travelers even more destinations to explore.
