Korean Air Initiates Seasonal Charter Flights to Taichung from Seoul Incheon

Starting May 2, Korean Air will offer seasonal flights between Seoul Incheon and Taichung, Taiwan, aiming to connect travelers to the vibrant city known for its natural beauty and culinary delights.

Korean Air is set to broaden its network by introducing seasonal charter services between Seoul Incheon and Taichung, Taiwan. This new route will be operational from May 2 to June 29, facilitating direct travel between the two cities during this peak travel period. Flights are scheduled for three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing Seoul Incheon at 3:30 pm and arriving in Taichung at 5:15 pm local time. The return journey from Taichung is slated for 6:50 pm, reaching Seoul Incheon at 10:40 pm.

This service will be operated by a Boeing 737-8 aircraft, accommodating 146 passengers with eight seats in Prestige class and 138 in Economy class. Travelers can book their flights via Korean Air's website, mobile application, or through authorized travel agencies.

Exploring Taichung:

Taichung, Taiwan's second-largest city, has emerged as a prominent travel destination, attracting attention for its unique attractions and cultural experiences. The city boasts the Gaomei Wetlands, often likened to the Uyuni Salt Flat of the East, offering stunning sunset views and rich biodiversity. Adventure seekers and nature lovers can enjoy a cable car ride or a serene cruise on Sun Moon Lake, one of Taiwan's eight scenic wonders. Enhanced Connectivity:

With the introduction of the Seoul Incheon-Taichung route, Korean Air will operate a total of 24 roundtrip flights per week to Taiwan, including 14 flights to Taipei from Seoul Incheon, seven flights from Busan to Taipei, and three new flights to Taichung. This expanded service underscores Korean Air's commitment to providing diverse and convenient travel options for passengers exploring Taiwan.

The seasonal flights to Taichung are expected to cater to the growing interest in Taiwanese destinations among travelers, especially those from Korea, and contribute to the cultural and tourist exchange between the two regions.
