Mekong Tourism Forum announces speakers

News

Private and public sector leaders accounting for 25 speakers will gather at the Mekong Tourism Forum in order to discuss Social Enterprises, New Ways of Connecting Sustainable Tourism Suppliers and Buyers, and Technology across the Greater Mekong Subregion.

Speakers include Daniel Gelfer of Agoda, Willem Niemeijer of YAANA Ventures, Tean Ly of Seeva Capital, Jason Lusk of Clickable Impact, Mika Cui of JNE Group, Duangmala Phommavong of EXO Travel Lao, Mayur (Mac) Patel of OAG, Thuy Phuong Nguyen of Plan International/Travelife, senior executives of the Asian Development Bank, the Pacific Asia Travel Association, the ASEAN Tourism Association, and many more.

Official interventions will be led by H.E. Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam. Moreover, contributions from ministries and national tourism offices from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Thailand will be presented under the theme of “Rebuild Tourism, Rebound with Resilience.”

Ahead of the Mekong Tourism Forum, organizers will also invite guests to attend the Sustainable Tourism Exhibit focusing on sustainability, held between 10 and 12 October.

Participants are expected at the Mekong Tourism Forum’s location, in Hoiana Resort & Golf (Hoiana), 40 minutes away from the Da Nang international airport.
