Minion Land – The Debut That Will Complete Your Holiday
This summer, visitors to Universal Studios Florida may check out Minion Land. Read the details about the upcoming attraction powered by Minions at USF.
During the summer, Universal Orlando Resort will open Minion Land, and now we know more about what to expect.
The iconic Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem experience will be joined by another interactive activity called llumination's Villain-Con Minion Blast. The resort announced new information about the highly-anticipated Minion Cafe, the themed restaurants, and many more.
“This will truly be a one-of-a-kind, interactive blaster game experience that will immerse guests in the world of Illumination’s Minions franchise as they compete to see if they have what it takes to be the next supervillain,” Thierry Coup, the Senior Vice President of Universal Creative, commented about the new opening in a December interview.
Across from Despicable Me Minion Mayhem on Illumination Avenue, the new ride will take over the former site of Shrek 4-D. At the outdoor "Illumination Theater facade," visitors may encounter Gru, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, as well as the Minions. Moreover, for the first time ever at Universal Orlando, fans of the "Sing" movies may finally meet Rosita, Gunter, and Johnny. Minion Land also has murals and picture ops with cameos from other Illumination stars.
The Minion Cafe will offer a menu that would be different from the one at Universal Studios Hollywood. Among the roughly twenty new offerings are vegan options like Carl's Crispy Cauliflower and Otto's Noodle Bowl.
According to a press release from the resort, there will be three distinct locations to dine in: The Dining Room, a lively area decorated with bright artwork, the Breakroom based on themes from Office Safety Tips, and the Kitchen, an impressive space where visitors can enjoy a memorable meal. For those who would rather not wait in line, a fast window with a smaller menu will be available.
And, as bananas are a favourite snack of minions, the brand-new Pop-a-nana kiosk will offer Minion popcorn jugs in addition to banana-flavoured popcorn. Guests can also visit Bake My Day, a bakery and retail business selling Minion-themed cupcakes and macarons, or Freeze Ray Pops, a drive-up window selling lollies and cold beverages with a similar concept.
So, take your entire family and friends and come have an unforgettable time in the amazing land of Minions!
