MSC Cruises Announces Largest U.S. Deployment for Winter 2025-26 Season

Cruise Lines & Cruise Ships

MSC Cruises is set to make a significant impact in the U.S. market for the winter 2025-26 season by deploying seven ships across four homeports: Miami, Port Canaveral, New York City, and Galveston. This marks the largest presence the cruise line has ever had in North America.

New Additions and Highlights

The season will feature several noteworthy highlights:

  • MSC Grandiosa's U.S. Debut: This will be the first time MSC Cruises deploys a Meraviglia-Plus Class ship in the U.S., with MSC Grandiosa homeporting in Port Canaveral. The ship will offer alternating 7-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, as well as 3- and 4-night cruises aboard MSC Seashore to Nassau and Ocean Cay.

  • MSC Cruises' Inaugural Season in Galveston: The season will also see MSC Seascape sailing from the Port of Galveston, marking MSC Cruises' first sailings from this Texas port.

  • MSC World America's First Winter Season: Following its debut as the line’s newest flagship in April 2025, MSC World America will embark on its first winter season from Miami with alternating 7-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

Enhanced Experiences at Ocean Cay

Most itineraries will include a stop at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, where guests can enjoy numerous enhancements currently underway. These include new excursion centers, a snorkel and dive center, additional food and beverage options, and an expanded Ocean House bar and restaurant exclusively for MSC Yacht Club guests. Opened in 2019, Ocean Cay is a thriving marine reserve that offers a unique connection to nature and insights into ocean and coral reef conservation.

Remarks from MSC Cruises Leadership

Rubén A. Rodríguez, President of MSC Cruises USA, expressed excitement about the upcoming season: “The winter 2025-2026 season will mark our largest presence in the U.S. to date, with seven ships sailing from U.S. homeports. We are delighted to provide our guests more choices than ever before when it comes to embarkation ports, ships, itineraries, and destinations, making it easy to find the perfect cruise.”
