New Alpine Service To Begin Operation Ahead Of The Winter Sports Season

Car Rental & Rail

The new Eurostar itinerary will start from the city of London, UK and make stops in Lille, France, and numerous other French tourist towns.

In preparation for the next ski season in the French Alps, the Eurostar line is introducing a new weekly route during the winter months.

According to the railway operator, the new train will operate within the framework of the Eurostar Snow service, making stops in London and numerous French ski destinations. The new railroad line began selling tickets on Thursday, and they start at only £99.

From the bustle of London to the serenity of the French Alps, the company aims to make it it simple for the customers by providing convenient connections, affordable fares, and a choice of five accessible stops.

“We're proud to offer our customers a sustainable travel option to the Alps by launching our first connecting service as Eurostar Group,” explained CCO Francois Le Doze.

Skiers and snowboarders (and anybody else who wants to see Europe's breathtaking Alps) may take a train from London to Lille. Eurostar continental trains will take vacationers to some of Europe's best ski slopes, stopping in popular destinations including Chambéry, Albertville, Moutiers, and Aime-La Plagne. The train's last stop will be at Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

The train will depart London every Saturday from December 16 through February 3 and return to London every Sunday from December 17 through February 4.

The price of a railway ticket includes the transport of two bags, one carry-on item, and skis or snowboards.

After the Channel Tunnel was finished in 1994, Eurostar began operating trains connecting London and Paris, and it currently links key cities throughout Europe. In order to better serve its customers, Eurostar and Thalys joined together last year to form the Eurostar Group.
