New Caption by Hyatt Hotel to be opened

With the occasion of the latest property addition, vice president and global brand leader of Hyatt’s lifestyle & luxury brands, Crystal Vinisse Thomas, commented:

“The Caption by Hyatt brand was designed to reimagine what it means to see your own lifestyle and values reflected in travel. We wanted to offer a space where you can do you and be you and create an environment that encourages guests to make the Caption by Hyatt experience their own.

“We’re thrilled to see the first Caption by Hyatt hotel come to life on vibrant Beale Street in Memphis.”

The new hotel will be located inside the historic Wm. C Ellis & Sons Ironworks and Machine Shop building and will include warm, generous spaces designed by using an industrial-style touch. The concept was developed and executed by HBG Design.

Guests at Beale Street Memphis Hotel will be able to enjoy an outstanding panorama of the Mississippi River and Memphis skyline.

The multi-functional lounge space, called Talk Shop, will also empower the hotel’s guests to spend time in the cosy lounge and welcoming workspace areas, or at the coffee shop, delicious eatery featuring local dishes and beer, as well as the small artisanal market and cocktail bar.

Sustainability is another aspect the brand had in mind when building its new property, with the implementing of no single-use plastics policy at the location, as well as use of hydration stations and recycled materials in its structure.

Caption by Hyatt plans to extend its hospitality business to global leisure markets through next years, with the opening of several properties from 2023 to 2025. Upcoming Caption by Hyatt locations include: Caption by Hyatt Shanghai Zhongshan Park, Caption by Hyatt Namba Osaka, Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo and Caption by Hyatt Ba Son Saigon.
