The new TripAdvisor app will be launched in 47 markets and will be available for all Windows 10 compatible devices: desktop, tablet and mobile

Starting this year, the TripAdvisor app will be pre-loaded by default on devices using Windows 10 operating system.

The app's booking tools will allow customers to compare prices, check availability and book hotels, as well as certain restaurants and attractions directly from their compatible devices, both mobile and desktop.

290 million user reviews and more than 46 million destination photos will help travelers decide on their trip choices.

The Near Me Now new tool will offer travelers the possibility to use their phone's GPS as a navigator to reveal nearby points of interest.

Rory Kenny, director of mobile partnerships at TripAdvisor, explains:

“The new TripAdvisor Windows 10 app offers users a comprehensive resource to help them plan and book their trips.

“Mobile continues to be a huge driver of traffic to TripAdvisor, in fact half of our traffic now comes via mobile.

“We are excited that Windows Phone users will now be able to plan, compare and book hotels, restaurants and attractions within the TripAdvisor app.”
