Flughafen Zürich AG’s largest international project, Noida International Airport, is on track for commissioning by the end of April 2025. Situated in the greater Delhi area, the airport's construction is in its final stages, marking a significant milestone for the region's aviation infrastructure.
Key Milestones and Progress
Advanced Construction Work
Significant progress has been made on the runway, passenger terminal, and control tower. With crucial construction phases nearing completion, the project has also seen the final awarding of ground handling, commercial operations, and maintenance contracts.
Airline Agreements
Agreements with multiple airlines have been finalized, ensuring that Noida International Airport will have established flight connections upon opening.
Operational Readiness by April 2025
Collaborative Efforts
The project team, in collaboration with total contractor Tata Projects Limited and other specialist firms, is working diligently to maintain the construction schedule. The investment framework, estimated at around CHF 750 million, remains on target.
Completion Timeline
Most of the critical construction work is expected to be finished by the end of 2024, with the official commissioning set for April 2025.
