One of New York City's newest Starbucks locations may be found in the iconic Empire State Building

News

The three-story site has a bar offering a custom coffee mix, and other amenities that pay homage to the landmark tower.

Even though you'll find a Starbucks on almost every block in New York City, the newest store is sure to create some excitement since it is a Starbucks Reserve and is located inside of one of the city's (and the world's) most renowned buildings.

Even though there is already a Starbucks Reserve in NYC's Meatpacking District, the new location is on a whole new level.

Now open in the iconic Empire State Building, this enormous Starbucks features an upgraded Reserve coffee along with an enhanced food and beverage offering. In addition to its art-deco-influenced interior architecture, which is a nod to the building's heritage, the Starbucks Reserve Empire State Building Micro blend will also be the home of hand-painted murals created by New York City-based artists.

The new shop is one of the few spots in the Empire State Building (together with the Observatory) where customers can view the building structure's original riveted columns.

Its boutique bakery and café, Princi, can be found on the ground level, making it seem the most like a traditional Starbucks. In addition to the popular pre-packaged whole-bean coffee, clients may now buy a wide variety of Starbucks Reserve merchandise. You may eat a meal or perhaps a beverage like an Empire Negroni at a bar that seems straight out of the 1930s if you climb up to the third level. Staying true to tradition, Starbucks will be offering a free first-taste sample of its Reserve Empire State Building Micro blend for every meal.

In addition, if you're a coffee connoisseur, you may attend a Starbucks Reserve Coffee Workshop on the atrium floor. Whiskey Barrel-Aged 10 and Espresso Martini Flight Fundamentals are just two of the unique courses offered here. Cold Pressed Espresso Tasting Experience reservations are also available to guests.
