Booking Now App Available For Android  

Booking.com has launched the Booking Now app for Android, allowing users to indulge in last-minute holidays in just two taps.

Travellers can now choose from Booking.com's selection of more than 670,000 properties in over 79,000 destinations.

Booking Now for Android can be fully personalized to each user's requirements, offering filters for features such as price, breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking requirements.

Based on each user's location and preferences, the Android app automatically generates accommodation suggestions, providing users with step-by-step directions to each selected property.

An estimated 86 per cent of global travellers will book accommodations using a smartphone in 2015, while 85 per cent agree that since technology allows for an easier booking, the decision to go on trips can be more spontaneous.

Stuart Frisby, principal designer at Booking.com, declared: "We know there is an increasing demand for prompt and on-the-move travel with almost half of worldwide reservations made within 48 hours, and being booked from a mobile device – a considerable portion of these being on an Android."
