Cathay Pacific collaborates again with Duddell’s to offer passengers authentic Hong Kong culinary delights onboard, featuring a new menu for First and Business class travelers.

Cathay Pacific is delighted to announce an enhancement to its inflight dining experience, presenting a new "Hong Kong Flavours" menu in partnership with the Michelin-starred Duddell’s restaurant. This collaboration, extending from their initial partnership in February 2023, brings a selection of Cantonese and regional Chinese dishes, along with modernized comfort food classics, to First and Business class passengers on select long-haul departures from Hong Kong.

This menu expansion reflects Cathay Pacific's ongoing efforts to provide travelers with carefully chosen dining experiences that highlight Hong Kong's rich culinary heritage, underscoring the airline's commitment to connecting global travelers with the vibrant flavors of the city.

Vivian Lo, Cathay Pacific's General Manager Customer Experience and Design, emphasizes the airline's goal to showcase Hong Kong's iconic dishes while enhancing the global connectivity through these unique culinary offerings. The collaboration with Duddell’s aligns with this vision, bringing passengers an unparalleled dining experience at 30,000 feet.

JIA Group's CEO, Yenn Wong, expresses pride in the continued partnership, allowing Duddell’s Chef Chan and his team to share their reinterpretation of Hong Kong flavors with the world. This partnership allows passengers to savor the essence of Hong Kong cuisine, even while flying high above the clouds.

First Class Delicacies

First class passengers will be treated to a menu starting with a crystal pork terrine appetizer, followed by a choice of main courses such as sautéed abalone and chicken with Sichuan pepper or steamed cod fillets with Chinese ham and shiitake mushrooms. The dining experience concludes with a black sesame tart with tofu ice cream, inspired by traditional Chinese dessert flavors.

Business Class Feast

Business class guests are invited on a culinary exploration beginning with Sichuan-style poached chicken as a starter. The main courses include braised pork ribs with hawthorn sauce and green apples, and braised beef ribs with port wine, showcasing a perfect blend of sweet and savory elements. The meal ends with a delightful tofu pudding with red bean, offering a light yet satisfying finish.
