Jazeera Airways Adds Three New Destinations

News

Jazeera Airways, a low-cost airline from Kuwait, has announced a significant expansion of its network ahead of the start to the 2023 IATA summer seasons.

This summer, the airline will be serving five European destinations. Three of these new routes are being added. Two of the other routes will be rerouted.

Jazeera Airways, a budget airline, has flown out of Kuwait International Airport (KWI), since October 2005. It has an all-Airbus fleet of A320ceo, A320neo, and A320neo aircraft at its disposal. This allows it to reach a variety of destinations in Asia and Europe.

This summer will be a busy one for the continents, as Jazeera opens three new European routes. It will link Kuwait with Germany, Albania, and Serbia. These routes will fly to Tirana Mother Teresa International Airport, Munich Airport, MUC, and Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, (BEG).

Tirana will be served the most often by these new routes. Jazeera Airways operates three weekly rotations between Kuwait and the Albanian capital. Belgrade and Munich will receive two rotations per week. The aircraft will only take 45 minutes to return to Kuwait from each of these destinations.

There are two more routes available.

Jazeera Airways will increase its European services by adding two more services. The airline will resume flights to Bosnia and Herzegovina's Sarajevo International Airport, (SJJ), twice per week starting April 20th 2023. Rohit Ramachandran (CEO) commented on Jazeera’s European network:

"We always endeavor to expand our network, and offer passengers more affordable choices for direct flights from Kuwait. This summer, we have these great destinations in Europe on offer for the leisure market in Kuwait, as well as connecting passengers from around our network. We expect there will be a strong demand for all of them."

Jazeera Airways will also resume flights from Kuwait to Prague Vaclav Havel Airport, (PRG), later in the summer season. These flights will be operated twice a week (Thursdays, Sundays) so Jazeera Airways will have a total of 11 weekly European rotations.

It's exciting times for the airline

Jazeera Airways has made a number of exciting announcements, including the announcement that it is expanding its European network. This month, the carrier made history when it flew Kuwait's first all-female crew on its inaugural flight. It was held on International Women's Day.

Jazeera Airways was also in the news recently following its announcement of plans to launch a low cost carrier in Saudi Arabia. According to reports, the new airline will be based in Dammam as part a Vision 2030 program.
