Punta Cana's Falcon's Resort by Meliá All Suites Is Now Open for Business

News

Falcon's Resort by Meliá All Suites Punta Cana is the result of a partnership between Meliá Hotels International and Falcon's Beyond.

“It is a sincere honour to welcome guests to the first Falcon’s Resort by Meliá property in beautiful Punta Cana. Meliá has deep roots in the Dominican Republic – with our first property opening in Punta Cana over 30 years ago. The development of Falcon’s Resort by Meliá will add a new level of casual, sophisticated, and unexpected fun to the traditional vacation experience,” stated with the occasion André Gerondeau, the COO of Meliá Hotels International. As the first property to debut under the new leisure and entertainment-focused brand, it provides the first true "resortainment" vacation experience in the Caribbean.

Scott Demerau, Executive Chairman of Falcon’s Beyond, explained:

“This new type of ‘resortainment’ experience will change the way we think about the traditional beach vacation. Falcon’s Resort by Meliá | All Suites Punta Cana and Katmandu Park | Punta Cana is redefining the tourism experience in the Dominican Republic. We are thrilled to partner with Meliá Hotels International to bring this entertainment destination to life.”

The six-hundred-and-twenty-two-room, five-star all-inclusive resort on Bávaro Beach is the result of a multi-year renovation of two distinct Meliá hotels, the Paradisus Grand Cana and the Garden Suites by Meliá. Suites vary from 800 and 2,990 square feet in size and have separate living rooms, private balconies or terraces with garden or pool views, as well as a variety of other amenities to please even the most sophisticated of guests. Every stay in a Standard Suite includes a complimentary ticket to Katmandu Park.

The Beyond Suite Experience features a dedicated Beyond Concierge, VIP treatment when making restaurant and attraction bookings, a special nightly turn-down service, a special supper for two around the Beyond Pool, and admission to Katmandu Park for multiple days.

Guests may also enjoy the MAIA Signature Spa, which offers a broad range of relaxation and rejuvenation services, and any one of nine unique dining concepts serving food from across the world.

The resort, a brand-new theme park, and a shopping, eating, and entertainment centre named Falcon's Central will all be available to visitors of Falcon's Beyond Destinations. Resort guests receive early access to certain Katmandu Park amenities until the park opens to the general public on March 15, 2023.

Katmandu will take visitors on a journey via four signature attractions and many patented, never-before-seen ride technologies, all of which are designed to immerse guests in a fictional tale world. There are also outside ropes and a mini golf course, as well as a carousel with a Katmandu motif, for extra fun.
