
Radisson Hotel Group and Manchester City Reveal ‘The Medlock’ Hotel at Etihad Campus

Radisson Hotel Group has announced its collaboration with Manchester City Football Club for the development of a new 401-room hotel, set to open in late 2026. The hotel, named The Medlock, will join the Radisson Blu family and be part of the Club’s ambitious £300 million development at the Etihad Campus.
A Prime Location for Sports and Entertainment Fans
Located at the heart of Manchester’s sports and entertainment district, The Medlock will offer a convenient and comfortable stay for visitors attending events at Etihad Stadium, the Co-op Live arena, or exploring Manchester’s entertainment scene. The hotel will feature a mix of deluxe rooms, suites, and a luxury penthouse, catering to both business and leisure travelers.
A Hub for Business and Events
With the growing demand for corporate and MICE facilities in Manchester, one of the UK's top destinations for business and tourism, The Medlock will provide easy access to meeting and event spaces at the Etihad Stadium. The hotel’s strategic location ensures guests can easily reach the city center, enhancing its appeal to business travelers and event organizers.
Enhancing the Etihad Campus Experience
In addition to stylish accommodations, The Medlock will feature multiple dining outlets, a roof walk, and a museum experience for guests. The hotel will also include commercial office space within the expanded stadium area.
Radisson’s Growing Global Portfolio
The Medlock adds to Radisson Hotel Group’s growing portfolio, which includes over 1,520 hotels in operation and under development globally. The hotel will be operated by Valor Hospitality, an industry-recognized management company.
