Record-Breaking Number Of Tickets Sold For Space Perspective Space Journey

The sales represent a historic milestone in the company's mission to broaden the public's access to outer space.

With over 1,600 seats sold, Space Perspective, the first carbon-neutral spaceflight company worldwide has reported revenues of over $200M. Successful ticket sales for Space Perspective not only represent a major achievement for the business, but also demonstrate increasing curiosity and interest in space travel activities, as well as the company's dedication to carbon neutrality.

Spaceship Neptune tickets are $125,000 each, with a $1,000 deposit required to hold a reservation. Deposits for the highly sought-after first 100 flights begin at $60,000, with deposits for the first 25 flights starting at $125,000. Space Perspective is currently taking reservations two and three years in advance, despite the fact that commercial flights are not expected to start until the latter half of 2024.

Over half of the bookings have been made up entirely of full capsule purchases. Ticket sales continue to be driven mostly by the North American market, but there has been an up-tick in interest from overseas markets, particularly those in Asia and the Pacific.

The experience is intended to be as kind to the passengers as it is to the planet, with no special preparation needed, no sensation of weightlessness, and no strong g-forces. Passengers on Space Perspective's flights, which are governed by the FAA and adhere to standards set by NASA and the U.S. Coast Guard, can relax in the world's first Space Lounge, complete with gourmet food and drinks, high-speed Internet access, and bathroom facilities.

As the first and sole carbon-neutral spaceflight experience provider, Space Perspective's goal is to make life-changing space travel available to as many people as possible. Aboard of the Spaceship Neptune, passengers may take a comfortable and easy six-hour trip to the rim of the solar system, propelled by a massive Space Balloon.
