SAS Launches Its Own Business Credit Card for SMEs

Airlines & Airports

SAS has launched its own business credit card program, introducing the SAS EuroBonus Executive Business Card for small and medium-sized enterprises across Scandinavia, marking one of the first airline loyalty programs globally to operate its own embedded finance business card offering.

The metal card is issued on the Mastercard World Elite network and targets executives, business owners, and finance managers. Key benefits include 20,000 yearly Level Points, SAS Lounge access, Priority Pass membership, premium travel insurance, and a dedicated app with expense and receipt management integrated directly into ERP systems. Cardholders earn 25 EuroBonus points per 100 SEK, DKK, or NOK spent — the highest EuroBonus earning rate currently available on any card.

The program is powered by Nordiska's embedded finance and Cards-as-a-Service infrastructure for card issuance and credit capabilities, while Danish fintech Cardlay delivers the app experience and expense management functionality.

"Companies tell us they want less administration, clearer travel benefits and a card that genuinely supports how Scandinavian businesses operate," said Paul Verhagen, Chief Commercial Officer at SAS. "With this program, they get smoother expense handling, EuroBonus points, better travel experiences for their teams and a single product that replaces what previously required several cards and platforms."

The rollout will take place in phases across Scandinavia. The launch coincides with SAS marking its 80th anniversary in 2026.
