SWISS Adds Berlin to Geneva Route and Expands Winter Schedule for Scandinavia and Southern Europe

Airlines & Airports

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is expanding its Geneva-based route network this winter, introducing new daily flights between Geneva and Berlin starting October 28, 2024. This new service aims to attract both business travelers and leisure visitors, offering a convenient connection to one of Europe’s major economic and cultural hubs.

More Flights to Scandinavia

SWISS is also increasing the frequency of flights from Geneva to several Scandinavian destinations including Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Oslo. This decision responds to growing demand from both Swiss travelers seeking to explore Scandinavia’s winter landscapes and Scandinavian winter sports enthusiasts heading to Switzerland’s ski resorts.

Additional Flights to Southern Europe

For those looking for warmer winter escapes, SWISS is adding extra weekly flights between Geneva and Athens, Marrakech, Valencia, and Malaga. These routes will cater to sunseekers looking for flexibility in their winter travel plans.

2024/25 Winter Timetable

The SWISS winter timetable, running from October 27, 2024, to March 29, 2025, will feature 21 short-haul destinations from Geneva, alongside its regular Geneva-New York service. European winter destinations can be booked starting September 10, 2024.

This expansion of services reflects SWISS’s ongoing commitment to meeting diverse travel needs, from business travel to leisure tourism.
