Travel + Leisure announced the top 15 holiday destinations

Travel Agency Travel + Leisure launched a special guide that describes the most impressive places in the world. World Best Awards 2016 is based on a study that includes responses from thousands of experienced travelers. With criteria such as the beauty of the place, the hotel conditions and the airlines’ offers, the agency has compiled the Top 15 of the most spectacular holiday destinations, writes businessinsider.

The top conducted by Travel + Leisure, based on the answers provided by tourists, puts Cuzco, Peru on 15th place. This magnificent place in the Machu Picchu is followed by Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, Siem Reap, one of the most famous places in Cambodia, Beirut in Lebanon, Rome and Florence in Italy, Savannah, Georgia, Barcelona, Spain, New Orleans, Louisiana, Kyoto, Japan, Luang Prabang , Laos.

On the third place there is San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. Although it is a small town, San Miguel de Allende combines old world charm with a cosmopolitan lifestyle.

Chiang Mai, Thailand ranks second in the Travel + Leisure top. Tourists who come here should not miss the Chiang Mai National Museum, where they can see the most important works of art and craft specific to the culture and traditions of the northern region of Thailand.
