Trump - travel restrictions for North Korea, Chad and Venezuela
The American administration includes the citizens of these three countries into the travel ban issued earlier this year.
The controversial travel ban from American President Donald Trump, including Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, and Somalia has just been expanded, as it targets three more countries: North Korea, Venezuela, and Chad.
The decision was taken yesterday, as a result of detailed information that governments share.
As a consequence of the extended travel ban, certain government officials from Venezuela and their family members are not allowed to enter the U.S., all North Korean citizens are also banned and business and tourist visas for people from Chad are currently suspended.
On the other hand, the new regulations have lifted the travel ban formerly paced on Sudan.
“Making America safe is my number one priority. We will not admit those into our country we cannot safely vet,” President Trump declared.
In addition, the White House has also released an official document detailing the new restrictions.
