Vienna Cargo Day on October 22, 2024

The Vienna Cargo Day, scheduled for October 22, will feature insightful presentations on the use of artificial intelligence in air cargo supply chains, led by Prof. Sebastian Kummer, Head of the Institute for Transport and Logistics Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Attendees will also hear from Sam Okpro, CEO of PRO Air Cargo Consulting, who will discuss the complexities and challenges currently facing the global air cargo industry. Additionally, Michael Mottl, Head of Customs & Documentation at Flughafen Wien AG, will provide an overview of cargo handling operations at the airport and their future perspectives.

The event will be inaugurated by Ralph Rösener, Manager of Cargo Business Development at Flughafen Wien AG, and Dr. Günther Ofner, joint CEO and CFO of Flughafen Wien AG, alongside Glyn Hughes, Director General of TIACA. They will share insights into the growing importance of Vienna Airport in international air cargo developments.

FlyPharma Conference on October 23-24, 2024

The focus will shift to pharmaceutical logistics during the FlyPharma Conference on October 23-24. Participants can expect two days filled with discussions on market trends, innovations, legal requirements, security technologies, and collaboration opportunities among various stakeholders in the pharmaceutical supply chain.
