Wonder of the Seas to sail for the first time

The huge Wonder of the Seas, an impressive cruise ship owned by Royal Caribbean, has recently arrived in Barcelona before its debut in Europe.
The ship will sail for the first time with paying passengers in new seven-night Mediterranean cruise with stops in Palma de Mallorca, Marseille, La Spezia and Naples. The cruise trips are available for booking until late October.
Wonder of the Seas was constructed in three years at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St. Nazaire, France. The 1.200 feet long ship weighing 236.857 tons is now the largest cruise ship in the world, 4% bigger than its predecessor, Symphony of the Seas, owned by the same company. Moreover, with the latest addition, Royal Caribbean is now the proud operator of the world’s five biggest cruise vessels.
Wonder can accommodate almost 7.000 passengers and 2.300 crew members, more than any other vessel of its kind in the history of the industry.
As for facilities, it offers multiple pools, an area dedicated to children, several surfing simulators, a miniature golf course, a basketball court, a zip line, countless lounges, bars, restaurants and shops, one casino, spas, theatres and even an ice-skating rink.
Wonder of the Seas is an award-winning Oasis-class cruise ship.
