World of Hyatt Expands Luxury Offerings with Over 700 New Boutique Hotels and Villas

Hotels & Resorts

Hyatt enhances its luxury portfolio by integrating over 700 Mr & Mrs Smith properties globally, offering World of Hyatt members unique design-led accommodations.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has broadened the luxury and boutique options available to World of Hyatt members by incorporating more than 700 properties from the esteemed Mr & Mrs Smith collection into its portfolio. This expansion, now open for bookings, follows Hyatt’s acquisition of the luxury travel platform in 2023.

A Global Expansion of Luxury

The newly added properties enrich the World of Hyatt program with diverse accommodations ranging from glamping sites and boutique wellness retreats to grand palazzos and top-tier ski resorts. These destinations span over 20 new countries including Namibia, Fiji, and the British Virgin Islands, offering members the ability to earn and redeem points in some of the world’s most unforgettable locales.

Each property under the Mr & Mrs Smith banner has been handpicked for its distinctive design, personalized service, and meticulous attention to detail. Among the notable additions are the Zannier Hotels Sonop in Namibia, known for its remote luxury tents, and the sustainability-focused Hotel Aguas Claras in Costa Rica, as well as the unique Arctic TreeHouse Hotel in Finland. Members can explore these new destinations via Hyatt’s website, with the option to filter their searches to specifically view Mr & Mrs Smith properties.

Enhancing Member Experiences with Unique Stays

Amy Weinberg, Senior Vice President of Brand, Loyalty, and Data at Hyatt, emphasized the commitment to enriching guest experiences. "Our aim is to engage our members on a deeper level, rewarding them for exploring the world and offering them meaningful, design-forward accommodations that enhance their travels," Weinberg stated.

Tamara Lohan, Co-founder and CEO of Mr & Mrs Smith, also commented on the integration, highlighting the exclusivity and high standards of the Mr & Mrs Smith collection. "Our properties are curated through a meticulous, invitation-only process, ensuring that each guest experiences something truly exceptional and unique," said Lohan.

This strategic enhancement to the World of Hyatt’s offerings is in line with Hyatt’s focus on meeting the sophisticated needs of today’s luxury travelers, who prioritize unique and culturally rich experiences. The addition of Mr & Mrs Smith’s properties complements Hyatt's ongoing expansion, which includes more than 35 new luxury properties across various Hyatt brands.
