"Feel Winter In Qatar" Campaign Unveils New Events In Qatar
Qatar's upcoming chilly season will be celebrated with a number of festivals and events geared at families.
With the debut of the "Feel Winter in Qatar" campaign, Qatar Airways and Qatar Tourism have announced an amazing calendar of events and festivals taking place in Qatar this winter. The programme is jam-packed with concerts and exhibits that are likely to please the tastes of families from all over the GCC countries. Many of these events have become staples on Qatar's social calendar.
Over 50 hot air balloons from across the globe ascended to the skies above Doha as part of the 10-day Qatar Balloon Festival, which was made possible thanks to the recent initiative. Visitors to the Old Doha Port enjoyed family-friendly entertainment and tasty cuisine in addition to seeing breathtaking dawn balloon releases and Nightglow performances with lit tethered balloons.
The season opened with the first live orchestral performance of the world-famous "Disney Princess - The Concert," with backing by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, a cherished national icon. Celebrities from Broadway and the West End sang Disney songs for three nights in a row in front of the stunning outdoor Katara Amphitheatre.
The Visit Qatar GKA Freestyle Kite World Cup 2023, which happened from the 31st of January through the 4th of February, has come to a positive end, with three male champions and three female medallists taking home the titles.

Starting on January 26 and continuing through the season, Qatar Tourism's "Feel Winter in Qatar" campaign will include a dynamic line-up of live performances by recognised local, regional, and worldwide musicians via Qatar Live.
From February 13-18, 2023, the outdoor hard courts of the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex will play host to the 21st edition of the professional women's tennis tournament Qatar TotalEnergies Open.
Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition has been Qatar's premier showcase for fine jewellery and timepieces for nearly two decades, and this year's event promises to live up to the reputation with rare exhibits, exclusive debuts, and exquisite craftsmanship from more than 500 brands from Qatar, the Middle East, and around the world. There will be six days of festivities beginning on February 20 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Qatar ExxonMobil Open - this annual men's tennis event, which is a stop on the ATP 250 circuit, will be held at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex from February 20-25, 2023. Since the first tournament in 1993, many of the sport's best players have made it a habit to participate.
With 'Hayaakum at Shaqab' and now the Commercial Bank CHI AL SHAQAB Presented by Longines 2023, Al Shaqab is setting the tone for Qatar's 2023 schedule with breathtaking equestrian sports. The latter is scheduled for the dates of February 23-25, 2023, at the Longines Outdoor Arena and Longines Indoor Arena in Al Shaqab, and it is sponsored by Commercial Bank, Longines, and ExxonMobil.
The Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) is an annual event hosted by Qatar Tourism that highlights the country's extensive international cuisine and drink selections. There will be a 12th instalment, and it will debut between March 1 and 11, 2023. The previous food festival included world-famous chefs, live cooking demonstrations, cooking contests, masterclasses, and other family- and friend-friendly events at beautiful outdoor venues.
Popular Doha shopping malls serve as the backdrop for the annual Shop Qatar festival, which pays tribute to the country's diverse retail, beauty, and leisure offerings. This yearly event promotes the fashion and leisure industry in Qatar and highlights the country's warm hospitality. Shop Qatar also features a number of intriguing courses, seminars, and other surprises. The dates for the 2023 edition are February 23rd through March 18th.
The Ramadan Bazaar, hosted by Qatar Tourism, will feature plenty of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. Travellers who come to Qatar during Ramadan will have the opportunity to experience the country's rich culture and participate in the many joyful celebrations that mark the end of this holy month.
