20 Years of Fully Bonded Holidays from Alpine Action
Agency News
Every year, more than 2200 people book with Alpine Action. And they're confident that at least part of that success comes from offering a service worth coming back for again.
Alpine Action are marking twenty years in the business of offering ABTA and ATOL protected holidays in France's Three Valleys ski area. Dennis Heasman founded the company in 1993 with a single chalet. Today, Alpine Action have grown to become one of the most well-established tour operators in the area. In Meribel, they now have 11 fully catered chalets and a self-catered apartment, not to mention La Tania (http://www.alpineaction.co.uk/resort-la-tania.htm), a neighbouring resort in Courchevel.
Every year, more than 2200 people book with Alpine Action. And they're confident that at least part of that success comes from offering a service worth coming back for again. Sales and Marketing Director Dionne Heasman explains that they pride themselves on offering the best in customer service. She explains that this applies right across the board, "from our UK office, through to our experienced Resort Management team and committed chalet staff." They also strive to give a very personal service. She has herself worked as a chalet girl, and everybody on the team has gained personal knowledge of the reason through living or staying there. This means they can give very detailed, specific advice to customers in need. As Dionne says; "you just wouldn't get that kind of knowledge or information from one of the larger tour operators." With over 60% of their bookings last year coming from repeat business, it seems their commitment to customers earns them commitment from customers in return.
They also make sure they keep up the same high standards with the chalets themselves - http://www.alpineaction.co.uk/chalets-meribel.htm. A whole host of mod cons come as standard - from the simple luxury of boot warmers to free Wi-Fi and Freeview. DVD players, games, and music facilities with iPod docks are also standard, while other chalets offer even more luxury with saunas and jacuzzis. The generous catering is freshly prepared and served in the chalet. It includes a solid breakfast, afternoon tea, and four courses worth of evening meal.
