The New Vantage Explorations By Aurora Expeditions

Pacific Travel Partners, a division of Aurora Expeditions, is launching a new travel company called Vantage Explorations, which will specialize on land, river, and ocean cruise trips.
Pacific acquired Vantage Deluxe Travel in July, a cruise business that had previously applied for Chapter 11 insolvency. The newly formed company is a subsidiary of the group.
According to Aurora Expeditions' chief marketer, Hayley Peacock-Gower, the company's purchase of Vantage Deluxe Travel's inventory, which featured the line's client and target list as well as trademarks, presents a chance to develop its North American clientele and broaden the company's portfolio.
Although an official announcement is expected in the coming months, Gower has said that the new business would aim to provide land, river, and ocean cruises across Europe, the Caribbean, and Canada, and maybe land services in Africa.
The goal, as stated by Gower, is to generate an abundance of activities for clients.
While vessels were not included in the purchase, the third ship for Aurora Expeditions is currently being built and is scheduled for delivery in the autumn of 2025; this ship might be operated under the new Vantage Explorations name. According to Gower, the company plans to expand its river cruise operations by exploring additional channel options and maybe making some acquisitions.
Pacific has agreed in the settlement to provide credits to former Vantage customers that may be used to up to half the cost of an Aurora Expeditions voyage. Gower confirmed that visitors may use the vouchers for trips with Vantage Explorations. Credits may be used by guests until the year 2028.
According to Gower, Vantage Explorations would initially not pay travel consultants a percentage as the company focuses on regaining the consumers lost when Vantage Deluxe Travel shut down. After that time, it is uncertain whether the brand will continue to pay commissions to advisers. What the company ultimately decides to do will depend on how the offering will grow in the future.
