Air India Launches Cloud Chasers Kids Travel Programme
Air India has launched Cloud Chasers, a dedicated children's travel programme designed to make flying more engaging for young passengers and more seamless for their parents — arriving just in time for the summer holiday season.
At the heart of the programme is a reimagined version of Air India's iconic Maharaja mascot, reborn as a young, adventurous companion who guides children through their journey and appears across the programme's various touchpoints, from activity kits to First Flight Certificates.
Children aged 3 to 9 travelling on long-haul and ultra-long-haul flights of over eight hours will receive a vibrant activity kit featuring puzzles, games, drawing sections, and discovery prompts, all designed in Cloud Chasers branding. First-time flyers can also receive a personalised First Flight Certificate — signed by the captain and crew — now refreshed with a whimsical new design to serve as a lasting memento.
On the entertainment side, the Kids Zone on Air India's Vista inflight entertainment system offers over 130 hours of child-friendly content for ages 3 to 13, developed in collaboration with global partners including Moonbug and Red Bull TV. The Vista Stream option adds over 35 hours of content accessible on personal devices. Interactive features include Kids Maps, UNO, Angry Birds, Chess, and Ludo Race. A partnership with Vobble also brings audio stories on board to offer a screen-free entertainment alternative.
For parents, Cloud Chasers integrates priority boarding and check-in assistance at airports, bassinet seats and infant meals on select flights, and 24/7 crew support trained specifically to assist families travelling with young children.
Air India's Chief Customer Experience Officer Rajesh Dogra described the launch as the first phase of a long-term vision to elevate the family travel experience, with further enhancements planned as the programme develops.
