Ascott and DOJI Group Launch Luxury Hotel on Hanoi's West Lake
The Ascott Limited has announced its first partnership with Vietnamese conglomerate DOJI Group, with the upcoming opening of Diamond Crown Westlake by The Crest Collection in the Tay Ho district of Hanoi, Vietnam.
The 178-key property marks the debut of The Crest Collection brand in Vietnam and brings Ascott's total portfolio in the country to 40 properties and over 10,200 units across operational and pipeline developments. The Crest Collection, first launched in France in 2016, is Ascott's luxury brand known for heritage-inspired positioning and locally rooted hospitality experiences, with existing properties in Paris, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, and London.
Located at 86 Quang An Street on the Quang An Peninsula with direct frontage to West Lake, the property occupies one of Hanoi's most prestigious lakeside addresses in a district long favored by expatriates, diplomats, and affluent residents. The development will offer one- to four-bedroom residences, suites, and duplex units, alongside facilities including an all-day dining restaurant, café bar, reading room, executive lounge, gym, spa, kids' club, and swimming pool.
The location provides guests with direct access to nearby international dining, boutique retail, and lifestyle venues, while remaining close to embassies and Hanoi's key commercial districts. The property is positioned to attract upscale leisure travelers, diplomatic visitors, long-stay expatriates, relocating professionals, and premium domestic guests.
"Tay Ho is one of Hanoi's most distinctive and internationally recognised neighbourhoods, making it a natural fit for The Crest Collection brand," said David Cumming, Regional General Manager of Indochina at Ascott.
DOJI Group, one of Vietnam's five largest private enterprises and a major player in the gold, silver, and gemstone industry, described the partnership as a strategic move into luxury hospitality as the group expands its real estate and resort portfolio.
