Avatar: The Experience set to debut on 28 October 2022
The original, immersive project is the result of a collaboration between Cityneon Holdings, Disney Location-Based Experiences and Lightstorm Entertainment - co-founded by Avatar’s creator, James Cameron.
Visitors are invited into the amazing world of Pandora and its Na’vi people, while enjoying bioluminescent surroundings and mystical creatures and environment.
Avatar: The Experience will be located at Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay in Singapore and is set to immerse guests into a one of a kind experience featuring light installations and artistic representations of the film’s main characters.
Executive Chairman & Group CEO of Cityneon Holdings, Ron Tan, declared:
“We are immensely honoured to present Avatar: The Experience, at our very own Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. This was a global effort with all collaborators having worked diligently to transform this iconic garden location into a memorable experience. We look forward to welcoming you!”
Gardens by the Bay’s CEO, Felix Loh, added:
“We are thrilled that Avatar: The Experience is coming to the people of Singapore. Over the past month, our horticulturists have collaborated closely with all teams to infuse our Cloud Forest with the world of Pandora. We hope visitors are as excited as we are to be a part of this extraordinary event.”
Moreover, the creator of Avatar himself, the one and only James Cameron, is personally welcoming virtual visitors of Avatar: The Experience at Gardens by the Bay, by sharing the following message on www.AvatarTheExperience.com:
“The submersive walk-through exhibit inspired by the film Avatar is a window into the beauty of Pandora and its breathtaking environment, bioluminescent flora, and amazing creatures. Visitors will also get to learn more about the culture of the Na'vi people. Be inspired, feel connected, and experience Pandora right here on Earth at Gardens by the Bay.”
Avatar: The Experience will debut on October 28, 2022. The exhibition will be open for the public until March 31, 2023. Access tickets can be purchased starting today via Klook’s website, the official partner of the event.
