Rome Ciampino Airport will be closed two weeks in October, according to Ryanair official site, which has been forced to redirect or cancel its flights due to maintenance works on the runway/landing area of the airport. The budget carrier said the majority of flights from the 14th to 29th October 201 will be switched to Rome Fiumicino airport.
Robin Kiely of Ryanair declared that: “Rome Ciampino airport will close for runway maintenance for a two week period in October, meaning the majority of our Ciampino flights will move to Rome Fiumicino, with a number unfortunately cancelled. All affected customers been notified by email and we sincerely apologize to all customers affected by this runway closure.”
Travelers that wish to cancel their reservation and claim a full refund of the unused flight(s) can access the company’s official site and enter their booking details. Authorized persons and also an official notification on the website of the Ryanair Company announces that refunds will be processed within 7 working days back to the form of payment used for the original booking.
