easyJet to operate new routes from London Luton Airport

Starting this winter, EasyJet will operate three new routes from London Luton Airport to two of the most famous island in the Canary Islands, Tenerife and Lanzarote and one to southern French region of Toulouse. The new flights will be operated all over the year.

The new destinations are definitely some of the most loved holiday places, as tourists all over the world pick the two Canary Island as summer destinations due to the amazing beaches and warm blue water while the splendid region of Toulouse attracts both mountain lovers in search for a gateway to the Pyrenees but also business man making investment in the region.

Neil Slaven, commercial manager at easyJet, declared that: “We’re pleased to be continuing to deliver an unrivaled network of destinations with three new routes placed on sale from London Luton Airport. This underlines our commitment to both leisure and business passengers in the region. It is safe to say we are seeing significant growth at the airport in increasing the choice of winter holiday destinations for our passengers.”

Over 1,100 passengers a week are expected to be onboard on the EasyJet flights, twice a week to Lanzarote and Tenerife and four times a week to Toulouse. The new routes enable easyJet to continue to support the redevelopment of the airport - the results of which will ultimately provide much needed improvements and enable passenger numbers to increase which will in turn drive economic growth and jobs for Luton and the surrounding region.
