
Emirates Announces Extra Flights for Eid Al Fitr, Enhancing Holiday Travel

To accommodate the surge in travel demand during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, Emirates has expanded its flight schedules, adding 19 additional flights across the Middle East. This initiative aims to facilitate travel to popular destinations and family gatherings, with over 150,000 customers expected to fly with Emirates during this period.
In anticipation of the Eid Al Fitr holiday, Emirates is set to bolster its flight schedules by adding 19 additional flights across the Middle East, catering to the expected surge in travel demand. This year, Emirates forecasts that over 150,000 customers will travel with the airline during the Eid period, prompting the addition of extra flights from key cities including Jeddah, Kuwait, Beirut, and Amman.
From 7-13 April, Emirates will introduce seven extra flights to Jeddah, enhancing connectivity to popular destinations such as Dubai, London, the Maldives, Colombo, and Karachi. Kuwait will see an addition of six extra flights between 7-20 April, aimed at serving the increased travel demand to cities like Bangkok, Osaka, Chennai, Hyderabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar. Starting 2 May, Emirates will also increase its flight schedule to Bahrain to 22 weekly flights to meet the growing travel needs to and from the Kingdom.
In a bid to facilitate family reunions and celebrations post the Holy Month, Emirates is adding four additional flights to Amman and two to Beirut, ensuring more travelers can partake in Eid festivities.
Embracing the spirit of Eid and its Middle Eastern heritage, Emirates will serve a specially curated Eid menu for customers departing from Dubai, featuring traditional favorites such as chicken biryani, lamb kibbeh labanieh, and vanilla and rose mousse cake, among other delicacies.
For entertainment during the Eid holiday, Emirates’ ice system offers over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment, including more than 2,000 movies and over 100 Arabic films, ensuring passengers have a variety of content to enjoy. The airline also provides 46 channels of Arabic TV series, 15 channels of Arabic podcasts and audiobooks, The Holy Qur'an, and over 500 channels of Arabic music, enriching the travel experience for its customers.
