Eurowings Launches Berlin Flights to Sarajevo and Sardinia

Airlines & Airports

Eurowings is adding two new destinations from Berlin Brandenburg Airport this May, giving travellers from the German capital fresh options for both city breaks and beach holidays.

The first new route connects Berlin with Sarajevo, the culturally rich capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Flights operate once a week every Saturday, with an additional Thursday service added during the peak summer period from July 2 to August 27, bringing it to twice weekly. The flight takes approximately one hour and 55 minutes, making Sarajevo a practical short-break destination — a city where Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian, and Yugoslav history sit side by side within a compact and walkable centre. It also serves as a useful gateway for exploring the wider Balkan region.

The second new route heads south to Olbia on the Italian island of Sardinia, operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Sundays. With a flight time of around two hours and 20 minutes, Olbia puts travellers within easy reach of the Costa Smeralda — one of the Mediterranean's most celebrated coastlines — as well as the quieter beaches and landscapes of northern Sardinia. The town is well placed for both relaxed seaside stays and independent exploration of the island.

Both routes are now available to book through Eurowings' standard channels.
